A vital resource for our clients is our “network”. Rather than amass and pay talented legal professionals (as large firms have traditionally done), the widespread success of “boutique” law firms is predicated on the skill of “networking in” legal help only when needed. Creating this network requires decades of experience.
Knowing who has the best skills, the best judgment, and how to work with them as part of the successful team we may need to build for any given dispute requires careful judgment. There are plenty of excellent choices for talented professionals. Locating and managing them with greater skill than anyone else is our goal. We also maintain an additional, technology-supported, office space for this very reason.
The modern successful boutique law firm uses this strategy so “you only pay for what you need” instead of overhead that, one way or another, raises the expense of legal services of every firm client. Therefore, our “file room” for client documents is in the cloud and our law library is “virtual.” It is why providing better services through maximum use of technology is not merely a goal, it is our creed.
